artist's biography...

After attending Art Center College of Design, Jeanne studied ceramic sculpture with Robert Arneson at University of California, Davis, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art.

Continuing her explorations in the medium of sculpture, Jeanne attended the Scottsdale Artist School in Arizona, taking workshops with Bruno Lucchesi, Eugene Daub, Richard Loffler, and Oreland Joe, Sr.

Jeanne also took metal arts foundry classes at Diablo Valley College, where the foundry facilities include bronze, aluminum, and iron casting.

To me, sculpture is frozen music.

Exploring the tension between static form and implied movement, as well as creating something that will resonate within the viewer -- this excites me.
